Privacy Policy
DeepMoat AI LLC ("DeepMoat," "we," "us," or "our") operates deepmoat.ai and provides AI decision-support, signal triage, briefing, buildout, and related professional services. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and protect personal information when you visit the website, contact us, purchase or book services through Shopify, or otherwise interact with DeepMoat.
This policy covers the public website, Shopify checkout, scheduling and service communications, and high-level intake related to DeepMoat services. A separate written agreement, paid scope, data-processing addendum, confidentiality agreement, or client statement of work may apply to deeper paid work.

- Contact information, such as name, email address, phone number, company, billing details, and messages you send to us.
- Order, payment, and booking information, such as purchased service, amount paid, scheduling selections, payment status, refunds or credits, and related Shopify order details. DeepMoat does not store full credit card numbers.
- Service and intake information, such as high-level business context, decision questions, workflow descriptions, tool or vendor names, meeting notes, and materials you choose to provide within an accepted scope.
- Communications information, such as emails, form submissions, scheduling messages, Zoom or meeting logistics, and support requests.
- Device, usage, and analytics information, such as browser type, pages viewed, referring pages, date and time of visits, cookies, pixels, and similar technologies used by Shopify, analytics providers, or other service providers.
Materials not to send before a paid scope
Please do not send confidential files, customer data, regulated data, patient or health information, legal files, patent material, NDA-covered material, source code, repositories, private-system links, cloud access, credentials, API keys, tokens, or similar sensitive material before DeepMoat has accepted a paid review scope and confirmed the appropriate access boundary in writing. Unsolicited sensitive material is not accepted for review and may be deleted, ignored, returned, or held until a separate paid scope, NDA, data-processing addendum, or access method is confirmed.
How we use information
We use information to operate the website and Shopify store, process purchases and payments, schedule and deliver services, respond to inquiries, evaluate fit and scope, prepare for meetings, provide human-reviewed analysis, improve the website and services, maintain security, comply with legal obligations, enforce terms, and protect DeepMoat, clients, visitors, and service providers.
AI-assisted tools and human review
DeepMoat may use AI-assisted tools for drafting, research, summarization, analysis preparation, internal organization, and service support. DeepMoat's work is human-reviewed. We do not knowingly submit confidential client materials, credentials, private-system access, regulated data, or other sensitive material to third-party AI tools outside the access boundary approved in a written paid scope.
How we share information
We may share information with service providers and vendors that help us operate the website, process payments, manage Shopify checkout, schedule meetings, provide email and communications tools, host video meetings, run analytics, maintain security, perform professional services, or comply with legal requirements. These providers may include Shopify, payment processors, scheduling tools, email providers, video-meeting providers, analytics providers, professional advisers, and security or operations vendors.
We may also share information if required by law, legal process, government request, dispute, security event, business transfer, enforcement of our terms, protection of rights and safety, or with your consent.
Shopify and payment processing
DeepMoat uses Shopify to host the store and process checkout-related activity. Shopify and payment providers may process personal information under their own policies and legal obligations. You can review Shopify's privacy information at shopify.com/legal/privacy and Shopify privacy controls at privacy.shopify.com.
Where Shopify Network Intelligence or related Shopify enhanced services are enabled, Shopify may use customer data with other Shopify data to improve Shopify products, ad targeting, personalization, checkout features, and related services for DeepMoat, as described by Shopify.
Cookies and analytics
The website may use cookies, pixels, analytics tools, and similar technologies to operate the site, support Shopify checkout, remember preferences, measure usage, improve performance, and understand how visitors interact with the site. You can control cookies through your browser settings and, where available, through Shopify or other provider privacy controls.
Your choices and privacy rights
You may contact us to request access to, correction of, deletion of, or limits on personal information that DeepMoat controls, subject to applicable law, verification, and exceptions. Depending on where you live and which laws apply, you may have additional privacy rights, including rights related to access, correction, deletion, portability, objection, restriction, or opting out of certain disclosures or targeted advertising. DeepMoat does not knowingly sell personal information for money.
Retention
We keep information for as long as reasonably needed for the purposes described in this policy, including service delivery, accounting, tax, legal, security, dispute, and business-record needs. Retention periods may vary by information type and legal requirement.
Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect information. No website, email system, payment process, or online service can be guaranteed to be completely secure. Please avoid sending sensitive material before DeepMoat confirms the correct paid scope and access method.
